They’re small, they’re cute, they’re yellow and it turns out Minions are also very good wedding accessories.
The adorable cartoon characters were the guests of honour at Samantha Finan and Robert Thomas’ wedding.
The loved up pair are such big fans of the Despicable Me films that they decided to have a Minions-themed wedding.
The couple enjoyed a Minions cake, cute cartoon decorations at the Chequers Hotel, Dalton-in-Furness, Cumbria, and even had bridesmaids dressed in yellow.
Bride Sam told North West Evening Mail: ‘It’s just spiralled out of control.
‘We were sat out the back and talking about themes and it just came up in conversation. We had a laugh about it.’
She added: ‘At first it was just going to be the cake. Then it was cuff links. Then the place cards. It has got a little out of hand.’
Groom Robert even got a Minions tattoo of him and his bride to mark the occasion.
Now that’s a day to remember.
