Paraguayan impersonator of Marco Antonio Solís wins Ecuadorian reality show
Paraguayan singer César Galeano achieved a remarkable victory in the Ecuadorian reality show "Yo me llamo – Ecuador," where he won the competition by perfectly impersonating Marco Antonio Solís. Galeano, hailing from the Department of Itapúa, impressed both the public and the judges with his flawless imitation of the iconic Mexican singer, El Buki.
Galeano traveled to Ecuador in mid-May and captivated the judges, Axel, Pamela Cortés, and Erika Vélez, right from the casting stage. As the competition progressed, he consistently showcased his talent, ultimately winning the hearts of the audience and securing victory through the popular vote during the final gala on Tuesday night.
For his win, Galeano received a $20,000 prize, along with additional rewards from the program’s sponsors. His success is especially significant as he became the first foreigner to win the competition in Ecuador.
In second place was Anabelle Giller Saldarriaga, who represented Ana Gabriel, followed by Paul Carrera as Alejandro Fernández in third, and Junior Revellón, who imitated Sebastián Yatra, in fourth.
