Ukraine has accused Russian forces of demolishing yet another dam in an attempt to impede Kyiv's counteroffensive. Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Ganna Malyar stated on Monday that they have successfully recaptured seven villages in their counteroffensive. Malyar added, "The total area of territory under our control now spans 90 square kilometers." The Ukrainian defense ministry also reported that their forces had made advancements ranging from "250 to 700 meters" towards the volatile eastern city of Bakhmut. However, these claims have not been independently verified.
