The national broadcaster, RTS, has officially commenced the process to select Serbia's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. The event, titled "Pesma za Evroviziju 2025," promises to showcase the finest music from across the country, providing a platform for artists to present their best work to the nation and beyond.
The submission window for entries is now open and will remain so until November 1, 2024. During this period, artists and composers are encouraged to submit their compositions for consideration. The RTS Selection Committee will evaluate all submitted entries based on their artistic quality. Should none of the entries meet the expected musical standards, RTS reserves the right to select an entry independently.
The final selection process will involve a special jury, comprising prominent musicians and creators, and the public. The winner will be determined through a voting system that allocates equal weight to the jury's and the public's votes, following the Eurovision 50% – 50% principle.
