‘Macintosh Phone' is what iPhone would have looked like in 1984

This is what the iPhone may have looked like if it was released 30 years ago.

First of all it wouldn’t have been called the iPhone and instead would be known as the ‘Macintosh Phone’.

As you can see it’s not as sleek as the real version but does have a 1984 feel to it, which is mainly due to it being designed around the Macintosh 512k computer.

The fake retro smartphone was mocked up by designer Pierre Cerveau, who put images of it on his website.

It comes with a rotary wheel that looks like the ones on classic house phones and also has a back shell that resembles the vents on original Macs.

Something tells us it wouldn’t have been as successful as the iPhone.
