7 burnt to death in West Bengal village
Charred bodies of at least seven people were recovered from multiple houses which were set on fire in a village in West Bengal's Birbhum district today.
It is a suspected retaliatory action for the alleged murder of a ruling Trinamool Congress Panchayat Deputy Chief Bhadu Sheikh in Barshal village on Monday, reports our New Delhi correspondent quoting a senior police officer.
"Seven bodies have so far been recovered from the houses at Bogtui village on the outskirts of Rampurhat town," the police official said.
