The Boring Company is selling a FLAMETHROWER that CEO Elon Musk claims is 'great for roasting nuts'

He’s known for his wacky inventions, and Elon Musk ’s latest gadget is no exception.
The SpaceX and Tesla CEO has revealed that another of his companies, The Boring Company, is selling a flamethrower.
The bizarre device comes with an eye-watering price tag of $500 (£354), but that doesn’t seem to have put some people off buying one.
Musk revealed on Twitter that 1,000 had been ordered already, with only 19,000 left.
While the flamethrower’s relevance to the Boring Company remains unclear, the website claims that it is ‘guaranteed to liven up any party’, and Musk added that it is ‘great for roasting nuts.’
Two videos of the flamethrowers in action have also been posted on Instagram by Musk.
One shows two employees shooting flames into the air, and the second shows the CEO himself using the gadget.
The Boring Company is also selling a $30 (£20) fire extinguisher alongside the flamethrower.
A description states: “Buy an overpriced Boring Company fire extinguisher! You can definitely buy one for less elsewhere, but this one comes with a cool sticker and the button is conveniently riiight above.”
The flamethrower will begin shipping in spring.
