Person dies after falling under Victoria Line tube train

A person has been killed this morning after falling under a Victoria line train at the King’s Cross London Underground station.
Emergency services were called to the scene including the air ambulance but the person was dead at the scene.
The incident forced the closure of the service between Highbury and Islington and Warren Street for nearly an hour.
A London Ambulance spokesman said: ‘We were called just before 8.30am to reports of a person under a train at King’s Cross Underground. A number of staff including the air ambulance was sent. Sadly the patient was dead at the scene.’
