Cube Entertainment has firmly addressed and dismissed the dating rumors involving (G)I-DLE's Shuhua and Taiwanese actor Kai Ko Chen Tung. The speculation began when Shuhua shared several personal photos on Instagram, including a caption that read, "Hey~ I love you." Ko Chen Tung's response with a smiling emoji in the comments led netizens to speculate about a possible romantic connection.
The rumors gained further traction as Shuhua was previously seen at Ko Chen Tung's birthday celebration during a private trip to Taiwan in June. However, the comment exchange that fueled the speculation was later deleted, adding to the mystery.
On July 18, Cube Entertainment decisively refuted the rumors. In a statement quoted by Soompi, the agency declared, "The dating rumors between Shuhua and Ko Chen Tung are groundless," aiming to put an end to the conjecture. They emphasized Shuhua's dedication to her professional commitments, particularly her involvement in promoting (G)I-DLE's latest mini album, ‘I SWAY,’ and its title track, ‘Klaxon.’
