Boom Festival Tickets Sell Out in Two Days
The Boom Festival, set to take place in Idanha-a-Nova from July 17 to 24, 2025, has seen an overwhelming response, with all 40,000 tickets selling out within just two days. The tickets were purchased by attendees from 169 countries, reflecting the event's global appeal.
Tickets went on sale online on a Wednesday and were quickly snapped up, showcasing the festival's popularity. This upcoming edition, which marks the festival's 15th occurrence, will embrace the theme “The Ritual of Dance.” Organizers intentionally limit ticket sales to ensure a balanced interaction between attendees and the natural environment of Boomland, which spans 150 hectares.
Artur Mendes, one of the festival directors, expressed gratitude for the high demand, noting that it signifies the trust participants have in the festival. He highlighted that Boom is a fully independent event, free from brand sponsorship, and the quick sell-out—without an announced lineup—demonstrates the strong connection with its community.
Since 2014, every edition of the Boom Festival has sold out, underscoring its consistent popularity. The festival's organization also includes a network of ambassadors who facilitated ticket sales across 55 countries, contributing to the rapid sell-out.
The last Boom Festival, held in 2023, featured 1,228 artists from 29 different nationalities, further enhancing its reputation as a diverse and vibrant cultural event. Known for its commitment to environmental sustainability, the festival implements significant measures to reduce waste and greenhouse gas emissions, reinforcing its status as an eco-conscious gathering.
