Actor Song Joong-ki reveals the birth of his son in Rome

Song Joong-ki announced that his wife, Katy Louise Saunders, gave birth to their son in the beautiful city of Rome.
"I had the joy of meeting our baby boy in Rome, which is my wife's hometown. He is a healthy and cherished addition to our family," Song shared on his online fan cafe on Wednesday, along with a heartwarming photo of the baby holding onto his finger.
This little one is a precious gift, fulfilling the dreams of our loving couple to create a happy and complete family," he added.
Song, accompanied by Saunders, attended the Cannes Film Festival in May for his latest movie "Hopeless" before moving to Italy to prepare for the arrival of their baby.
In January, the 38-year-old actor announced his marriage to Saunders, a talented British actress and model, and shared the news of her pregnancy.
This marks Song's second marriage following his divorce from Korean actress Song Hye-kyo, who was his co-star in the immensely popular 2016 drama "Descendants of the Sun," which aired in 2019.
