Hypertension is just another name for high blood pressure. As we all know, high blood pressure leads to multiple health problems, namely heart diseases, increased chances of stroke, and a host of health complications. High stress and unhealthy lifestyle and bad eating habits all contribute to hypertension, or high blood pressure.

BANANA

Bananas can be had raw, or turned to yummy milkshake.
Other than just being an extremely potent source of energy, it is also packed with Potassium and Magnesium, which helps to significantly lower blood pressure.


GUAVA

Guava is just as yummy as it is beneficial for high blood pressure.
Guava helps to regulate water and electrolytes in your body, thus making them ideal for regulating blood pressure.

LOW-FAT YOGHURT

Yoghurt can also be paired with other healthy fruits such as Strawberries to enhance flavour and tackle hypertension.
Dairy products that are low-fat tend to be a good source of calcium, which helps to fight high blood pressure.

BEETS

Drinking beetroot juice can help mitigate symptoms of high blood pressure.
Beets contain a high amount of nitric oxide, which has been proven to lower blood pressure. In fact, drinking beetroot juice can lower systolic blood pressure by as much as four or five mmHg.


MANGO

Mangoes are the ideal fruits for summer in Bangladesh, and great for managing hypertension.
