Winter flu could 'increase burden' on hospitals
Australian Medical Association President Dr Omar Khorshid says all Australians should get the flu vaccine to prevent increased “burden” on hospitals during the winter season.
Dr Khorshid said the winter season is likely to see an outbreak of the flu.
“If everybody goes out and gets the flu vaccine, we’re going to have a much better winter,” he told Sky News Australia.
“And our hospitals are, again, struggling under huge burden of both COVID and flu this winter.” Read More...
