Try This Hair Mask For Strong And Shiny Hair

Last month I told you more about SheaMoisture, a hair care that specifically targets people with curls and whose products are also suitable for the Curly Girl Method. Then I posted a guest review of some SheaMoisture products, tested by Larissa (hair type 3C). You can read that review here.
I had already become very curious about this brand, but after reading Larissa's review I could no longer contain myself and I also tested some products myself. I have straight hair (not very straight, but there is absolutely no sign of it), so SheaMoisture isn't really aimed at my hair type. But hey, experimenting never hurts. In fact, “life is but an endless series of experiments”.
Of all 5 lines, the Raw Shea Butter line appealed to me the most. This line is intended for dry, damaged and lifeless hair and provides deep hydration, more volume and more shine. Because mainly my hair ends are very dry, I have not tested the shampoo, but I chose the Restorative Conditioner and the Deep Treatment Masque.
Restorative Conditioner
All SheaMoisture products are not tested on animals and free from silicones, sulfates and mineral oils. The Restorative Conditioner consists largely of fair trade raw shea butter (read more about how this ingredient is made) and the formula also contains a number of other natural ingredients that are known for their great effect on dry and damaged hair.
List of ingredients; Shea Butter – moisturizes the hair and provides extra shine. Jojoba oil – nourishes and strengthens the hair and makes it feel thicker. Argan oil – moisturizes the hair and protects it from breakage. Kelp extract – rich in iodine which strengthens and moisturizes the hair.
The conditioner comes in a pump bottle (384 ml) which I find super convenient to use. The texture is quite thick and creamy and the smell is OH SO delicious! Very soft and creamy.
I divide it over my hair ends with my hands first and then I comb it through. After rinsing and drying my hair feels wonderfully nourished, soft and smooth and it looks MEGA shiny and healthy. Read More…
