Tecno Launches AI-Driven Flagship Devices in its Nsambya Store
Tecno has taken a significant step forward in AI technology by launching a series of AI-driven flagship devices at its Nsambya flagship store, located at Arena Mall. The launch event, held on Friday, showcased an impressive range of AI-powered products, including smartphones, laptops, wearables, earbuds, gaming devices, and even a robot dog called Dynamic 1.
Timmy Shen, Tecno's Brand Manager, emphasized that the company's innovation stems from closely listening to its customers, and the integration of AI reflects Tecno's commitment to providing meaningful advancements that improve everyday life. As Tecno celebrates its 16th anniversary in Africa, the brand is proud of its legacy and ongoing product development, driven by customer feedback.
Among the AI-powered products launched were the Phantom V Series, Tecno's Spark 30S, the MEGABOOK T16 series laptops designed for productivity, the MEGAPAD 10 tablet, the MEGA MINI Gaming G1 mini PC with water cooling, Pocket Go, a VR-gaming device, Sonic 2 noise-canceling earbuds, and the Dynamic 1 robotic dog, modeled after a German shepherd.
Tecno’s latest products are powered by Ella, an AI assistant built on Google Gemini, providing a wide range of AI features like Smart Q&A, AI photo editing, AI writing, and AI video production. This comprehensive AI integration enhances user experiences by boosting productivity, creativity, and connectivity.
The launch event featured Phantom V Flip2 and Phantom V Fold2, the next generation of Tecno's Phantom V series. These new smartphones come with Tecno’s AI Suite pre-installed, making them the first in the lineup to have these features straight out of the box. Both phones include upgrades in design, performance, and AI capabilities compared to their predecessors from last year.
The newly launched products are now available for purchase, except for Dynamic 1, which will be released at a later date.
