Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos and Cancun, at the top of tourism
The federal Ministry of Tourism announces that for week 13 of 2023, (March 27 to April 2) the top three tourist destinations with the highest occupancy level are Puerto Vallarta with 87.0%, Los Cabos with 86.7% and Cancun with 82.7%.
During the thirteen weeks, Cancun has remained in the top three places, also shared by Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos, with an average occupancy rate above 80%.
According to the expectation set by Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa, it is expected that at the end of the two week holiday Quintana Roo will have received 1.2 million national and international visitors.
The forecast is also based on the high activity shown by the Cancun International Airport, which only this weekend added 1,300 operations, with which it turned Saturday and Sunday, two consecutive days with more than 600 landings and takeoffs in a single day. Read More…
