Peru's President Boluarte: Government will make efforts to provide quality education
The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Thursday affirmed that the Government will make every effort so that education for all students in the country is of quality.
Mrs. Boluarte participated in the "Scholarships Transform Lives" ceremony to recognize the perseverance of those students who are beneficiaries of the National Scholarship and Educational Credit Program's (Pronabec) Beca 18 (Scholarship 18).
Within this framework, the Head of State indicated that these acts "fill us with pride, emotion, and joy."
"This Government will not stop, and the Education minister knows it; we are going to make every effort so that education for all our children at primary and secondary school, as well as at university and Beca 18, is of quality," she said.
During the event, the top official specified that this ceremony serves to recognize the effort and talent of each scholarship recipient, who has the opportunity to prove, through their stories, "that education is capable of changing their lives and transforming the country."
In this sense, the president specified that 1,960 scholarships are being awarded to young Peruvians. Read More…
