The Peniche Festival, held in honor of Our Lady of Boa Viagem, is distinguished by its nighttime maritime procession, an event that has been a tradition for more than seven decades. The procession, taking place on the night of August 3, features dozens of boats from Peniche, Nazaré, and Ribamar in Lourinhã, all decorated and illuminated for the occasion. The event concludes with a spectacular fireworks display launched from the marina.
This year’s festival promises a blend of music, tradition, and maritime heritage, offering a unique experience for attendees.
