More than 276,000 Passengers on Air Serbia Flights in January
Air Serbia has reported a significant increase in passenger numbers for January 2025, carrying a total of 276,198 passengers on both scheduled and charter flights. This figure marks a notable growth compared to the same month last year, indicating a positive trend for the Serbian national airline.
In his statement, Jiri Marek, CEO of Air Serbia, highlighted the airline's successful operations to key regional and European destinations. The most popular regional routes included Podgorica and Tivat, while major Western European destinations saw high passenger volumes to Paris, Zurich, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Vienna, and Milan. Additionally, in the broader Euro-Mediterranean region, popular destinations included Barcelona, Istanbul, and London.
Marek emphasized the airline's ability to recognize market trends and respond to customer demands, expressing optimism for new development opportunities in 2025. He noted that the increased cabin load factor is a key success factor for airlines, reflecting the growing demand for Air Serbia's services.
Overall, the strong passenger growth in January positions Air Serbia favorably as it continues to expand its operations and enhance its offerings in the competitive aviation market.
