Lisbon House Prices Continue To Rise
The fluctuations observed in this quarter indicate a heightened acceleration compared to the final quarter of 2022, indicating that prices in Lisbon are experiencing a more rapid growth rate towards the end of the year. Specifically, during the last quarter of the previous year, the rate of change in housing sales prices in Lisbon was recorded at 1.2%, the same as 7.1%.
The capital city is following the national trend, which demonstrates a stronger surge in prices during the mentioned quarter, marking a reversal of the cooling trend experienced in the latter half of the previous year.
Based on data from SIR-Sistema de Informação Residencial, the average selling price of houses in Lisbon during the first quarter of this year stood at €4,203 per square meter. This marks the sixth consecutive quarter where the residential market in the capital has traded above the €4,000 per square meter threshold.
