1.About 230 Languages Spoken
There are about 230 languages spoken in Cameroon including French and English which are mostly spoken because of the colonization by France and Britain. Cameroon is very diverse in languages and culture that the languages are divided into seven groups. The largest is Niger-Congo where 19 languages are spoken. Next is Benue-Congo which has 142, and then on 3rd Bantu language variation with 130 spoken languages. There is another common language that mostly spoken is Cameroonian Pidgin English. This language is also common in the Northwest and Southwest provinces of Cameroon.
