IIT Delhi has announced the launch of a cutting-edge six-month certificate program in Generative AI, aimed at equipping professionals with advanced skills in artificial intelligence technologies. This initiative is part of the institute's Continuing Education Programme (CEP) and focuses on empowering participants with expertise in the rapidly evolving field of AI.
The curriculum of the Generative AI program emphasizes advanced AI techniques, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, BERT, and T5. Participants will also delve into emerging areas like Vision-Language Models (VLMs), Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF), and ethical AI practices.
The program consists of six specialized modules, including:
i. Mathematical Foundations for Machine Learning (ML)
ii. Natural Language Processing (NLP)
iii. Generative AI for Text and Vision
iv. Responsible AI
Hands-On Learning Experience
Participants will gain practical experience using essential tools and frameworks, including:
i. Programming Languages: Python
ii. Data Manipulation: NumPy, Pandas
iii. Deep Learning Frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow
iv. NLP Frameworks: NLTK, spaCy
The program is designed for working professionals and features live online interactive sessions delivered in a Direct-to-Device (D2D) format. These sessions will include industry-relevant case studies, projects, and assignments to ensure a comprehensive understanding of generative AI.
In addition to online learning, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a one-day campus immersion experience at IIT Delhi. This exclusive event will facilitate in-person interactions and enhance the learning experience.
Applications for the program are open until February 11, with a nominal application fee of Rs 1,180. Classes are set to commence on February 15, and the total course fee is Rs 1.69 lakh plus taxes.
