Homemade Goiabada
The Goiabada is a traditional sweet, made by generation of Portuguese families since a long time ago. This simple goiabada dessert was brought to Brazil when the Portuguese settlers decided to replace by the guava fruit the traditional quince from a marmalade recipe from the home country.
The making of homemade guava is very simple, needing only for ingredients guava and brown sugar, then the only thing left is to patiently to go stirring the pot continuously for 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, then to have the patience to wait for it to cool down before using this delicious typical sweet with bread, biscuit, cake or whatever presentation you had in mind.
Gioabada dessert:
* 4 lb. red Guava fruits,
* 2 tablespoons Water,
* 2 lb. Brown sugar.
Procedure:
