Health expands contact monitoring for suspected measles in Itapàºa
The health team of the VII Sanitary Region, Itapúa, carried out blockade actions by monitoring vaccination coverage and searching for other cases, among the closest contacts and around the home of the affected person. The works will continue for 30 days, starting from today.
These actions were carried out after notification of the suspicious case. So far, they are not found and no further suspicions have been reported.
Regarding vaccination, they reported that the corresponding doses have been completed in those who had an incomplete schedule. Meanwhile, direct contacts have received an additional dose of measles vaccine.
Currently, the result of the measles test performed on the suspected case is awaited.
Symptoms
