Five things that above average intelligent people do differently
We don't need to know someone's IQ to conclude that that person is above average intelligent. We will recognize them by five things that they do differently from others.
1. They question even the most deeply held opinions and beliefs
Intelligent people don't believe everything they hear. They question traditions, beliefs, ethical norms, the entire system in which we live, in fact, everything that exists. They do not take anything for granted and do not follow the crowd, but think about everything critically and thoroughly research before forming their own opinion.
They certainly don't believe everything they hear on the news or from any authority figure. Above-average intelligent people can see through a lie, and they don't allow others to play with them or corner them. Dogma, that is, principles that are presented as irrefutable truth, mean nothing to them - they have the opinion they want to have and follow their own path in life.
2. Intelligent people do not elevate anyone to heaven
People with above average IQ rarely have idols and rarely look for someone to guide them through life. They know that the knowledge they seek and need can be found within themselves. They understand that we can learn something from each person in life, but they also understand that they don't know everything themselves.
