Although it seemed that Eugenio Derbez and Victoria Ruffo had put their differences aside following the birth of their granddaughter Tessa, whose father is José Eduardo Derbez, the comedian reignited controversy with a pointed comment about his ex-partner.
During an interview on Despierta América, when asked if like his son, he has a coffin at home, Derbez responded with a grin, "Yes, look," before quickly denying it, saying, "No, I am mentally healthy." He added that his son indeed owns a sarcophagus and humorously shared, “He gets into the sarcophagus to rest, he likes it.”
But the real jab came when Derbez sarcastically remarked, "That comes from the mother, huh," while signaling that his son was "crazy," implying that José Eduardo's eccentricity was inherited from Ruffo, not him.
So far, Victoria Ruffo has remained silent on her ex-husband's dig, but fans are already speculating that this could mark the beginning of a renewed spat between the two.
