The Peruvian Association of Electronic Sports and Video Games (Apdev) will hold the Peru eSports forum, the first business forum in Latin America focused on electronic sports and video games; aimed at executives, managers, marketing professionals and business thought leaders.
“The objective of the business forum is to provide up-to-date information and reliable analysis. This will allow you to touch and feel how this constantly growing ecosystem has evolved, to invest in an efficient and reliable way”, said Mariano Tapia, president and founder of Apdev.
Along these lines, Fausto Vienrich, Director of Copyright at Indecopi -who will participate as a speaker- highlighted that eSports represent a sector of great growth and projection in Peru.
“It is among the entertainment industries that have been gaining more and more ground. This growth of electronic sports is due to the development of new technologies that allow young people to stand out in their favorite video games, both at a sports and professional level. Without a doubt, this great development and projection that esports have been having is thanks to the investment and business opportunities that have been taking place and that generate the conditions for esports to develop exponentially”, he highlighted.
