Enter the Movement! Premiere in Romania: UNCHAIN, the mobile game that takes you out of the house, was launched
Technology has often been a factor that has favored sedentarism, especially among young people and children. Leaving the house has turned into staying on the phone, tablet or laptop. Outdoor play has been replaced by video games . But what if technology turned from the movement's enemy to its ally?
It's time to change the paradigm
Technology is a good thing as long as it remains in the service of people and the roles are not reversed. This is also the premise of UNCHAIN, the mobile game that can only be experienced when you go outside . This concept represents a first for Romania and is an initiative of ANBR (National Association for Soft Drinks), being developed by the WEBSTYLER agency.
What is UNCHAIN?
UNCHAIN is a mobile game with a dystopian story. In the not-too-distant future, a human error caused all digital communication channels to be controlled by a superior artificial intelligence, CHAIN – a platform that initially had a positive impact, linking all information globally in the cloud. Little by little, CHAIN began to filter all the information of the present to give people a comfortable, relaxing life. Basically, CHAIN now controls all information and thereby, everyone's lives. A "resistance" group realizes that the only solution is to create a parallel network, independent of CHAIN, through which to counter and ultimately destroy CHAIN. That's why they call themselves UNCHAIN.
How does the game work?
To experience the game, each user must solve certain individual or group missions. To solve a mission, users must exercise using the UNCHAIN app: run, bike, rollerblade, skate, or walk. The game will also feature trivia, such as general culture pills and useful information about balanced lifestyle, exercise and sports. At the same time, the game is designed so as not to expose teenagers to risks (screen addiction, too much effort, extreme sports activities, exposure or social pressure/bullying). Read More…
