Digimon World: Next Order Switch Patch Restores Missing Ability
Bandai Namco has recently shared that a new patch for the role-playing game Digimon World: Next Order brings in an option that was previously not available for the Nintendo Switch version of the game. Many Digimon World: Next Order fans have been asking the developers to bring back this feature, and they have successfully delivered with a new update for the video game.
Fans of the video game series are likely familiar with the release history of Digimon World: Next Order. Previously launched for the PlayStation Vita in 2016 and then for the PlayStation 4 in 2017, it was only in February 2023 that Bandai Namco made the role-playing game available on PC and the Nintendo Switch. After six years, more fans finally have access to Digimon World: Next Order. However, one fan-favorite feature specifically did not make it into the Nintendo Switch port, and the developers decided to patch the option into the game.
On Twitter, the official Digimon Games account shared that it has already released the update that will add Japanese voice acting to the EU version of the Nintendo Switch title. The last post that the team made to address this issue was on March 10, 2023, meaning it took them a little over a month to get the patch out.
