Countless Buddhist devotees and visitors gather in Tay Ninh to commemorate the birthday of Lord Buddha
To enhance the visitors' experience on this special occasion, Sun World Ba Den Mountain Tourist Site has organized a diverse array of cultural and artistic activities.
One of the highlights of the celebration is the provision of 2,000 lanterns, allowing Buddhist followers and visitors to inscribe their wishes. These lanterns are then released onto the pond situated at the base of the Bodhisattva statue.
Standing impressively at a remarkable height of 72 meters and crafted using over 170 tons of bronze, the statue has earned prestigious titles such as "Asia's highest copper structure atop a mountain peak" and "Vietnam's tallest bronze Buddha statue situated on a mountain peak" from the World Guinness Records.
During the evenings of June 3 and 4, captivating art performances take place at the site, showcasing traditional dances and songs that pay tribute to Lord Buddha.
