Brazil’s exports of cosmetic products increased by 10.9% in 2022
The Brazilian personal hygiene, perfumery and cosmetics industry continues on its globalization track. According to the Brazilian Association of Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics Industry (ABIHPEC), foreign trade (imports and exports) grew by 9.4% in 2022 to reach 1.52 billion US dollars, compared to 1.39 billion in 2021.
Exports rise by 10.9%
Over the period (January-December 2022), Brazilian exports of cosmetic and hygiene products amounted to 776.5 million dollars, representing a growth of 10.9% compared to 2021 (USD 700 million).
The top three categories that Brazil exported in 2022 are: hair products (23.7%), soaps (19.1%) and oral hygiene products (11.6%). Read More…
