2 killed after bus hits roadside electric poll in Jhalakathi
At least two persons were killed and eight others were injured after a bus hit a roadside electric poll in Rajapur upazila of Jhalakathi this morning.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The accident took place around 9:00am at Kanudashkathi area when a BRTC bus was heading towards Patharghata upazila from Barishal town, said Mamun Hossain, a sub-inspector of Rajapur Police Station.
The bus driver lost control over the steering wheel and hit the electric poll, leaving two dead on the spot, he said.
The injured were sent to nearby Bhandaria Upazila Health Complex. Read More...
